THE CARE TEAM
The key to achieving our mission of providing the highest standard of hospice care at Hill House rests with the staff, volunteers, family physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.

Nursing Staff
The professional nursing staff provide 24-hour care. All members of the nursing team are specially trained in pain control and symptom management. In addition to providing direct care, this dedicated team also provides emotional support to family members.

Volunteers
Volunteers perform invaluable functions in both direct (providing emotional support) care and indirect (administration, housekeeping, fundraising) services. Volunteers are pre-screened before being accepted by Hill House and are required to complete the Core Concepts of Palliative Care course before interacting with residents and their families.

Executive Director
Reporting to the Board of Directors , the Executive Director has expertise in palliative care, including pain control and symptom management. The Executive Director is the primary agent for coordinating the various elements that encompass the care team and acts as the principal liaison between Hill House and external organizations, physicians, volunteers, health care facilities and other support resources.
